Christian Authors Share their Focus in New Jersey:
2 Days of Christian Books, Fellowship and Professional Development
National
– Christian authors from Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland and New York
are convening in Glassboro, NJ on May 2-3, 2014 as part of the Stay Focused Writers' Retreat at the Courtyard Marriott located 325 Rowan Boulevard.
This annual event is the 1st stop of the 2014 Called to Serve: Christian Authors on Tour (CAOT), a national Christian book tour with stops in NJ, NY, GA and MD. Although there is a fee to attend the Stay Focused Writers' Retreat in Glassboro, NJ, it is free to meet and greet the following Christian authors in the Christian Authors on Tour (CAOT) vending space:
- T.C. Spellen, the author of The Waiting Room: A 31-Day Devotional for Single Women Waiting for the Right Husband is available to greet readers on May 3rd from 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Mary Detweiler, the author of When the Glass Ceiling is Stained: Who's the Architect? is available to greet readers on May 3rd from 8:30 a.m. - 12: 30 p.m.
- Dr. Mary Washam, the author of A Believer But ... Do You Really Believe? is available to greet readers on May 2nd from 5 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and May 3rd from 12:30 p.m. -4:30 p.m.
- Janice Jenkins, the author of No one Stood with me but God: Through the Pain and the Sorrow is available to greet readers on May 2nd from 5 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and May 3rd from 12: 30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Kisha Morris, who was also scheduled to appear with Christian Authors on Tour (CAOT) at this literary event, is unable to attend; however, her books are available online.
In
addition to meeting these Christian authors and purchasing books,
attendees can donate "NEW" personal hygiene items at the Christian
Authors on Tour (CAOT) vending space in support of a local effort to
create housing and support for women escaping domestic violence.
